Ultra Filterbags Step one of the Sebo three layer filtration system. The Ultra Filter Bags collects the vast majority of the debris. The Sebo Air Belt K Service Box comes with 8 bags. Hospital Grade Step two of the Sebo three layer filtration system. The Hospital Grade collects any remaining particles. The Sebo Air Belt K Service Box comes with 1 Hospital Grade. Micro Hygiene-Filter K The final step of the Sebo three layer filtration system. Then the Micro Hygiene-Filter K cleans the exhaust air that the vacuum emits. The Sebo Air Belt K Service Box comes with 1 Micro Hygiene-Filter K. This three step process results in 99.9% effectiveness to 0.3 microns*, making the SEBO air belt K vacuums the perfect choice for customers with allergies and asthma. Here are some frequently asked questions about filtration- Why should I worry about filtration? The quality of air is becoming an increasingly important issue. The problems of "indoor air pollution" is getting national attention because of the growing numbers of people experiencing persistent headaches, sore throats, burning eyes, and asthma and allergy flare-ups related to the quality of indoor air. After the energy crisis of the 1970's, homes were constructed to be more energy efficient. While sealed buildings save money, they also shut off the healthy transfer of outside air. As a result, people are now exposed to much higher levels of contaminants such as bacteria, viruses, fungi, pollen and dust mites. Does the SEBO have a HEPA filter? Just because a machine has a great filter doesn't mean it has great filtration. Most vacuum companies with high filtration are actually quoting a specification made by the manufacturer of the filter. Their claims do not take into consideration that air can escape the machine through leaks in the machine or exterior bags. The following is from an article on this subject from Indoor Environment Review, March 1998 issue. "While researchers have studied a few vacuums that contained the high-efficiency particulate air, or HEPA, filters, most manufacturers claim their vacuums are "HEPA quality". We can only imagine what the average consumer is thinking they're buying when they bring a "HEPA" vacuum home. "New test results presented at a recent EPA conference on particulates proved there's no guarantee of filtration quality when it comes to seeing the word "HEPA" on a vacuum. Researchers found that HEPA filters must be tightly sealed in the system to be of use in capturing particulates. In addition, some vacuums tested had HEPA filters that were so small, they weren't efficient at certain (air) flow rates. So just what can be considered an efficient vacuum in today's marketplace? One researcher, Susan Goldsmith of InterBasic Resources, Inc., suggests consumers look for some kind of certification on the vacuum, where the cleaner and filter was tested, and whether the entire assembly or filter was tested before purchasing a vacuum cleaner with a so-called HEPA filter. The SEBO automatic X achieves its "S-Class" Filtration rating due to its superior combination of filter media and airtight machine design. Measuring the SEBO as a complete unit gives a more accurate measurement of its true filtration performance. Does SEBO have a bagless vacuum cleaner? Clean air isn't just about filtration. Keeping the air free of allergens also requires hygienic dirt disposal. To prevent the release and exposure to dust when emptying, SEBO have patented a sealable 3-layer bag. Because the bag comes away with the cover, you can dispose of it without handling it. And when sealed, no
